FIRE - Solar Celebrations
Equinoxes & Solstices
The solar celebrations represent four of the eight key dates of the Wheel of the Year calendar, marking the equinoxes and solstices as the heart of each season. Currently being celebrated in a Celtic ceremonial way, the Avalonia Project is keen to let these solar gatherings evolve into Festivals of the Four Seasons in collaboration with local artists and associations bearing the same values and embracing all forms of (non)-spiritualities.
As we are currently looking for partnerships, do get in touch if you wish to contribute to this dream!
WATER - Celtic Lunar Celebrations
Gates of the Seasons
Our ancestors the Celts did not take for granted the turning of the Seasons. It was important for them to ritualise these moments by holding ceremonies for the gates to each new season to pray and ask for a clement, peaceful and harmonious season.
With the Avalonia Project, we gather at the nearest full moons that mark the gates of Imbolc, Beltane, Lugnasadh and Samhain for Celtic ceremonies with druidic tones. You'll find more information on our Celtic Wheel of the Year celebrations here.

Community Collaborations
Getting in touch with our bodies, our senses, our creative selves, the Bards within us through music and dance has always been at the core of the Avalonian gatherings. As part of our gatherings and in collaboration with others, including the teams of Danse Organique & Musique Live and Un Monde EnchAnté, we organise singing circles, improvised musical circles open to all around the fire and dances with experienced sensitive multi-talented musicians who improvise based on the group's energy.

AIR - Sharing Circles
Druidry & Nature
One of the many Avalonia projects is to gather in community to share our thoughts, practices or spiritual reflexions - be they druidic or any other - in sharing circles (amongst other formats) with the same aim to help us all feel more and more intimately connected to the world around us, notably Nature, to enrich each other's perspective, open our minds and perhaps discover new paths, whilst accepting and respecting the right of each individual to hold their own beliefs and have their own path.
